Strange poppy red tutorial – Makeup look idea with the red makeup palette
- Apply shade 1 as a base to the whole of the upper eyelid.
- Take a small quantity of shade 5. Apply the color to the crease and blend out the eyeshadow for a softer result.
- Use shade 2 as a transition color. Apply the eyeshadow on the outer half of the upper eyelid. Blend the two shades together.
- Apply shade 4 on the inner and outer corners of the eye to intensify the makeup.
- Apply the topper with your finger to the curved part of the eyelid to transform the final look and add a glittery or duochrome touch.
- Finish with LOVE THE LIFT mascara to curve the lashes and achieve a lifted volume effect.

How do I apply the shades in the STRANGE BOTANICALS  eye palette?
For a professional result, apply the eyeshadows in the COLOR SHIFTER palette with the PRO SEPHORA COLLECTION makeup brushes. Choose eyeshadow brush #15 to apply, intensify and smudge dark eyeshadows. To intensify the crease, choose the precision crease brush #17. Finally, apply and blend the different eyeshadows with the large blending brush #27.

I can’t in good conscience give this a five star yet as I haven’t tested the way it wears, but it’s absolutely stunning and for the price, if you like the colours, it’s absolutely a recommendation for me. The shadows are creamy, layer beautifully, and the shifter has an almost wet look that I love. All in all, especially in this shade, it’s very beginner friendly and easy to work with, on top of being absolutely stunning.

Quality palette on a budget 🤌

Impressed! She’s buttery. She blends beautifully. And her pigments show up! The gorgeous blue/ green shift in the topper shade is EXACTLY what I have been keeping my eye out for, not wanting to buy a pricey all shimmer palette. Totally loving the nude mattes with both warm and cool tones. I can create a nice day time or evening look, depending on how much I layer. There can be some fallout, but give your brush a good tap before applying, and you’ll be allll good :)

It really shows up on your face

After using this product for the first time I thought that I would have to put a lot on my brush for it to show but after applying it the first time I realized that if you put to much on the brush it really shows on your face so I would recommend only getting a little bit of product on the brush.

Great palette with great value

Such a great palette for a great price! The colors are not too pigmented and buildable, which I prefer, and the colors are so pretty on my neutral skin tone. The glitter topper is very coarse, but long lasting. It definitely overpowers any color underneath rather than "shift"s them, but all the colors are great alone or with the topper.
