I actually use this as a detangler for my long hair after every shower on damp hair and even use it occasionally between washes on dry hair if I have a bad tangle or two. Leaves my hair soft and brush able.

Doesn't live up to the hype try a sample first

I was so excited to try this product but I was so disappointed after I did. I honestly felt like my 2b hair felt dryer in the morning than when I didn't use it. I definitely did not notice any drastic difference in the look or feel of my hair. I dont really like the packaging either. The bottle is made of a thick glass. I can't tell you how many times I almost knocked the bottle to the floor expecting shattered glass and hair product everywhere. If you have the opportunity to try a sample of this product before you buy it, definitely do that.

I use this pretty much any time of the day. It doesn't make my hair heavy, and it absorbs so quickly and makes my hair feel hydrated and healthy.

I have that kind of hair that you can't tell whether it's straight or wavy. and it dries super frizzy without product. This helps so much with my hair type. I put this in my wet hair (not too much) then I put it in a protective style and it's so soft when it dries. I use this day and night, whenever I choose to air-dry my hair. I wouldn't say this product makes your hair super shiny and sleek and defined, but it feels very healing on my hair that has a lot of dead ends.

Truly moisturizing!

This is the first overnight treatment I've used and I was completely blown away. This product truly left my hair deeply moisturized, and for context I have 4b/c high porosity hair, so my hair loves and loses moisture quickly. This is one product that consistently leaves my hair feeling soft and moisturized and I absolutely love it! My only critique is that there isn't much product in the bottle. So if you have thick or high volume hair then you might wanna get more than one bottle. Hoping that Amika makes this available in a larger size. Other than that amazing product!

dried out my hair

It’s ok. It’s hydrating but seems to dry out my low porosity hair after a few uses, so I can only use it once in a while and put another leave in conditioner over it. Not worth the price

A must-have in my routine

I swim a lot during the summer and my hair is naturally dry so when I tried this product it instantly became a must-have.

This works wonderful on my hair (real hair and extensions). I really like that it goes on dry hair and no need to wash. It's a great time saver!

Works well and smells great!

This product is pretty good I only wash my hair once a week so I like to use this mid week on my ends when they start to get a little dry it works really well at making it soft and hydrated. If you have thin hair use sparingly and only on your ends. it may seem a little thick at first but it does all absorb in. Overall I would recommend it works and it also smells great.
